I draw stories.
Everett, United States

My name is Chad Welson, and I draw stories! I am a cartoonist, writer, and story artist on a never-ending quest to tell better tales.

Raised on a steady diet of Saturday Morning Cartoons and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, I was a precocious child with an overactive imagination. I routinely occupied my time by trying to acquire superpowers or baiting the local werewolf into biting me (quickly failing at one and regretting the other).

Now, as an *adult* with an overactive imagination, I have garnered an eclectic collection of narrative expertise crafting everything from interactive ice sculpture exhibits to virtual reality experiences for the floor of the Game Developer’s Conference. I love telling stories and challenging them with unusual mediums.

Over the past fifteen years, I have cultivated my endless curiosity with a discipline of lifelong learning and applied it to creating stories that change minds and break hearts, and then put them back together again. I would be thrilled to help tell your story next.
